Whooping Cough

Whooping cough (also known as pertussis) is a serious and very contagious respiratory disease that can cause long, violent coughing fits that can last for weeks. Whooping cough has been on the rise in preteens and teens. These older children and adults can easily spread the disease to infants, who are at risk of more serious complications.
