Disasters can happen anywhere and anytime. In Douglas County we are at risk for a variety of disasters, including severe weather, winter storms, flooding, pandemic influenza, terrorism, or chemical spills.
In order to respond effectively and efficiently during a disaster, it is important to be prepared. Douglas County Department of Health and Human Services is actively working to be prepared to respond to emergencies when they occur.
