The Douglas County Risk Manager is extremely concerned about the safety of our employees and visitors to our facilities. Douglas County strives to furnish places and conditions of employment that are free from hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm, to see that lost-time incidents are eliminated or minimized, and to ensure that employees are considered first and above the task at hand.

It is important for employees to know that at all levels of management there is a strong commitment to their safety and health. Safety is everybody's business and we encourage you to assist in ensuring that Douglas County facilities are safe places to work and visit.
