Douglas County Strategic
Planning
The strategic
planning process for Douglas County began in August 2007. The
goal is to produce decisions and actions that will shape and guide
our county government in the next five years. We have been
seeking feedback from a wide variety of stakeholders; including
employees, elected officials, citizens, businesses, community
organizations and partners. Thus far, the steering committee
has been actively engaged with the process and a comprehensive
survey was implemented. In addition, core values and key
strategic priorities have been drafted for Douglas County. The
goal is to present the strategic planning results to the Douglas
County Board of Supervisors by late this summer.
